The project offers open positions in four different host organizations in Finland. All the host organizations focus on working with people with special needs or with fewer opportunities: Lehtimäki Special Folk High School (Lehtimäen opisto) is an educational institute for people with disabilities; Kisälli-Harjulanmäki operates an arts&crafts workshop and housing services for intellectually disabled adults; Sippola Reform School (Sippolan koulukoti) supports young people with fewer opportunities by providing them care and education (experience of youth work or social work valued) and Myllylähde Community is a village setting with work and housing for people with intellectual disabilities. The volunteers will participate in the daily activities of these four communities for the period of 10 to 12 months. They will support the staff in the daily activities and organize activities for the people with special needs.
